Having grown up in the quaint little town of Hilo, this place is pretty near and dear to our hearts. I remember going there with my dad as a kid to weigh in the day's catch and check out all the fresh fish brought in for sale.
It's great to see tables and umbrellas outside and people enjoying their poke bowls in the sunshine.
The last time we visited, the line up for fresh fish was almost out the door!
Suisan is turning into a bit of an attraction for locals and tourists alike, and I must admit their poke bowls are pretty hard to beat.
We recently shot our Summer/Fall 2017 Lookbook at Suisan, and are looking forward to bringing our fish pouches and T-shirts to there this Summer.
